What Does the Integration With Personio Look Like?
Setting up the Interface
- Before you begin, it is recommended to download a copy of your Navan user list. In the event that you need to revert to the original list, you can do so through a bulk upload.
- Log into your Navan account on the web.
- From the main dropdown menu on the left, select Admin, then click on Configuration from the top menu.
- Click Integrations, and from the HR integrations section, click Setup HR Integration.
- Select Personio using the search bar or scrolling through the list.
- Enter your API Key and secret from Personio.
Transfer of data
Employee information is transferred from Personio to Navan including:

Email address

First name
-
Last name
-
Status (employee status is active or inactive)

Company office
How the integration works
- User Provisioning: When you integrate Personio and Navan, new employees are added to Navan when onboarded in Personio - for efficient and accurate onboarding.
- Employee Lifecycle: Whenever employee data is updated in Personio it is also updated in Navan. This ensures your employee information is up-to-date all the time.
- User Deprovisioning: When employees leave the company, the respective Navan account is automatically deactivated based on the termination date in Personio.
