What Does the Integration With Personio Look Like?

Integrations scope

  • User Onboarding: Add your employees to Moss in minutes. When a new employee is added to Personio, they will automatically appear in Moss. Your teams and cost centres from Personio can be imported to Moss too so you can easily map your existing structure for consistency and assign employees to their respective teams in Moss.

  • User Provisioning: Automatically attach employees’ bank details to their profile to get reimbursed. Moss can automatically add your employees' bank account details from Personio to their Moss profile for reimbursements.

  • User Deprovisioning: Disabling access to Moss when employees are offboarded. Moss gets informed from Personio about upcoming terminations and will automatically disable the employee's Moss account on their last day of work.

  • Time Management: Get notified when an approver is absent so you can assign someone else as a replacement. Moss reads your employees' absences from Personio and gives you a notification when an approver is out of office, so you can directly assign someone else.

Transfer of data

Employee data is transferred from Personio to Moss including:

  • first name
  • last name
  • email
  • status
  • contract end date
  • termination date
  • cost centers
  • holiday calendar
  • absence entitlement
  • team

Setting up the interface

To connect Personio to Moss, you require the following::

  • Admin rights on Moss
  • Client ID and Client Secret generated in your HRIS
  1. Go to “People & Teams” found on the lower left side of your Moss navigation dashboard.
  2. Click on “Invite People” in the top right corner.
  3. Choose “Select from HR system”.
  4. Select your preferred HRIS to connect in the provided list.
  5. Click on “Grant access” to enable Moss to read the required fields.
  6. Copy and paste your “Client ID” and “Secret” from your HRIS to the required fields.
  7. Click on “Set up integration”.
  8. Wait 1-2 minutes until the synchronisation process with your HRIS has been completed.
  9. Now, you can select employees in the list and seamlessly invite them to Moss without the old-school manual work! For any other questions, please contact mailto:support@getmoss.com
